Principal, Arrowstreet Architecture & Design
Amy is a Principal at Arrowstreet, a Boston based architecture and design firm that was recognized as BostInno’s 50 on Fire design winner in 2015 for developing innovative and creative solutions for the built environment. Amy leads the design of many of the firm’s large-scaled mixed-use and commercial projects. In the past year, her ideas about the future of parking and driverless cars have sparked a new conversation about designing for the future in urban areas. Amy inspires much of the research thinking at Arrowstreet, and launched the firm’s Mixed Reality Studio to develop new ways of designing, interacting with and experiencing spaces. In addition to the traditional methods of practice, Arrowstreet’s Mixed Reality Studio is exploring ways to merge VR/AR with construction and how immersive computing will redefine building types. In 2014, she was a recipient of Banker and Tradesman’s award for Women in Real Estate, which recognizes Massachusetts women who demonstrate talent, ambition, innovation, and philanthropy.
