Isobar's VP of innovation
Dave Meeker is Isobar’s VP of innovation. Meeker is based in the U.S., but plays a global leadership role for Isobar, as well as for the Dentsu Aegis Network, as an advisor on emerging technologies and trends. Meeker is responsible for guiding the strategic direction for client engagements and the digitally focused products and services Isobar brings to market for them. Meeker’s hybrid background spans business, design, and technology, and gives him the ability to offer unique perspectives on the complex challenges he faces with his clients and project teams.
Meeker serves as the head of Isobar’s NowLab, a global initiative to catalyze innovation across all 42 global markets (69 offices). With 17 Isobar NowLab facilities in operation, Meeker and the international team are responsible for working to create a culture that supports and helps catalyze innovation across the agency. Meeker also manages Isobar’s relationship and ongoing collaborations with the MIT Media Lab.
Meeker has worked with a variety of Isobar clients, including HBO, NBCUniversal, Bloomberg, Motorola Mobility/Lenovo, Samsung, and Tesla Motors. He has worked with digital products and service design since 1995, been awarded various patents, and has won various industry awards, including a 2011 Computerworld laureate in innovation. He is often called upon to provide insights as a speaker and panelist at industry events.
