Josh is a senior research scientist at the Harvard Center for Geographic Analysis working on geospatial ontologies and semantic interoperability for the National Map as part of the Spatiotemporal Innovation Center. He also serves as an Interoperability Program architect and manager for the Open Geospatial Consortium, coordinating collaborative R&D activities ranging from semantic mediation to IoT for emergency response. Josh has a Ph.D. from the University of Washington as well as many years of experience in the earth and environmental sciences.
