Master of Science in Architecture candidate, a fashion designer, and a creative-researcher whose initiatives in interdisciplinary design work unite the arts and technology in a quest for a consciously designed world. Throughout her thesis on the Architecture of Augmented Reality, she has connected with key researchers in the field to discuss the future of AR in architectural design practice, production and education. Since the announcement that her alma mater, University of Miami, is the first academic research partner of Magic Leap, she is actively participating in the integration of AR technologies with architectural education. Lorena is Editor-in-Chief of the AR-eye, a website for the designer’s perspective on augmented/mixed/virtual realities.
