Senior Interaction Protyper at Magic Leap - conference Host
Savannah Niles is an artist/researcher currently based in Miami, FL. She builds tools for people and designs interfaces that are hyper-sensitive to the organization of our attention. She likes things that live quietly and meaningfully between the solid world and a softer one.
Savannah is currently a senior interaction prototyper at Magic Leap leading input design. She graduated from the Media Lab at MIT, where she received full funding in Dr. Andy Lippman’s Viral Spaces group. While there, she researched mobile diagnostics, maternal health technology, and GIFs in visual journalism. She developed her master’s thesis on techniques for visually manipulating video for integration onto wearable devices, ambient displays, and interfaces accessed by users with divided attention.
