As Editorial Director at Del Rey Books/Random House, Tricia oversees the creative direction and acquisitions for RH’s science fiction, fantasy, and graphic novel imprint as well as managing Del Rey’s editorial staff. Tricia’s vision for the category and for the modern publishing marketplace drives Del Rey’s publishing program and informs Del Rey’s operations, marketing, publicity, art direction, and promotions.
As an editor, Tricia has worked with authors such as NY Times bestsellers Kevin Hearne, Joe Abercrombie, Michael J. Sullivan, and Peter V. Brett and on media tie-in novels for such properties as Gears of War, Mass Effect, and Uncharted. She has also co-edited two comic book series, an adaptation of Stephen King and Peter Straub’s The Talisman and comics inspired by George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones, and edited the New York Times bestsellers Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel and X-Men: Misfits.
As transmedia producer for Random House Worlds, Tricia Narwani guides writers, media companies, and other creators in transforming their stories and fictional worlds for 21st century storytelling. Tricia guides the creation of multiplatform content, generates original concepts for new intellectual property, and oversees the creative direction of story bibles that create the rich mythology behind enduring brands. Tricia also oversees the story development team responsible for generating concepts for book series and their multimedia extensions in categories ranging from science fiction and fantasy to romance.
