Beth L. Hill is President and CEO of The Fort Ticonderoga Association, a non-profit educational organization, museum, and national cultural destination. While at Ticonderoga, Hill has led a major organization turn-around, significantly expanded educational reach, attendance, donor support, and earned income. Under her leadership programmatic experiences across the 2000 acre campus have significantly expanded including guests experiences on Lake Champlain and to the heights of Mount Defiance. Fort Ticonderoga has been the recipient of several prestigious federal grants during Hill’s tenure to support new major exhibitions, museum collection preservation and accessibility, and teacher education. Today she is leading a transformative new chapter to position Fort Ticonderoga for the future as a global educational resource to promote historical literacy and critical thinking, a demand generator for economic development in the rural Adirondack region of NY, and as a leader in next generation historical experiences.
