Jamie Larsen is a co-founder and a lead designer at Educational Gaming Environments (EdGE) at TERC. He has taught science and technology in both public and private schools and developed print and Web-based curriculum as well as games for formal and informal science and technology education with EdGE, TERC, NSTA, NOVA, The GLOBE Program, and Scientific American Frontiers, among others. At EdGE his recent work includes SportsLab-a sport research and shoe design challenge, Ravenous-a bird flight game, and Martian Boneyards-an MMO game of scientific inquiry. STEMlandia, is his current work focused on using AR/VR for location-based learning to connect STEAM to nature and the world outside.
