Interface Designer, Arrowstreet Mixed Reality Studio
Kat Schneider is an architectural and user interface designer with a deep interest in computational design and immersive technologies. She plays a key role in VR/AR research and design at Arrowstreet, a Boston based architecture and design firm. Kat has facilitated the development of Arrowstreet’s Virtual Design Studio, an emerging research incubator centered around VR/AR technologies for design visualization and future impacts on the built environment. This work has allowed the firm to cultivate innovative ways to enhance the design process, streamline cross-platform workflows, and expedite design documentation and enhance client interaction. Kat has also participated in panels and events nationwide including Venture Café, Harvard iLab, SXSW, Boston VR and is an AR in Action Speaker.
